Prosperar Juntos

Brand Identity, UX/UI

Prosperar Juntos aims to encourage young Latinx adults to seek mental health services. Through education and professional help, young adults can find the strength to have open conversations with family and friends to help break down barriers and fight stigma.

Project Goal:

The request for this project was to pick a topic and build applications that exemplify, encourages, or adds to the topic. I picked to do a campaign that would need a poster, flyer, and website prototype to encourage and inform. The design needed to be bold yet friendly. I made all designs in English and Spanish for accessibility.

I created a website that is modern and straightforward for users to find resources and learn facts about mental health in the Latinx community. The brand identity consists of bold primary colors and strong shapes that can be found in the Latinx culture. Triangles and squares were used to make elements used throughout the applications. San-serif fonts give a serious and sensible feel that matches the seriousness of the information.

The goal of the logo design is to represent the togetherness and strength of the Latinx community. I designed a flower that has hands as leaves, people as pedals, and a halo for hope. The colors are bold and the hatching lines give it an established feel. The typemark uses a quirky Sans-serif font that I have edited to form a ligature to represent the power of showing support.
